I recommend using this approach on your more detailed articles, such as in-depth guides, case studies, or other long-form content.
What About Social Signals?
So we got quality content, back-links.
Social signals are from social media websites, the most popular being Facebook and Twitter.
In simple terms, the more people share your website; the rank improves.
So we’ll need to encourage people to share our content.
To do this, we’ll need to write very detailed content and include a catchy title.
Some types of content are more popular on social media than others.
For example, list articles do well on social media, a long with case studies and interviews.
Here are some ideas for getting more shares on social media:
- Network. Share other people’s articles and ask for them to share yours.
- Share your links in groups.
- Include catchy titles.
- Ask people to share the article.
- Create a contest.
