Neobux is an advertiser platform where members are paid to view ads and complete other tasks.

It’s quite similar to most survey websites but there are a few things that make this company unique, which we’ll discuss in this review.

So if you’re looking for information about Neobux or maybe you found yourself wondering “Is Neobux a Scam?” then continue reading this article.

What is Neobux?

Launching in 2008, the Neobux platform has been around for quite sometime, and the domain is registered for another few years.

There are a few things that I liked about Neobux (and some things I didn’t) so let’s dive in.

Making money with Neobux is quite simple. Members create an account for free, watch advertisements for thirty seconds or so, and collect earnings.

The payments are done through Skrill, Payza, or NETELLER.

It’s a shame the company doesn’t use more well known payment processors like PayPal or Payoneer, but that’s not a total deal-breaker.

Neobux Tasks:

You’ll find a lot of different tasks that you can complete to earn some income with Neobux.

For example, members can watch advertisements, complete surveys, play games, complete mini-jobs, and more.

Most members make money by watching advertisements or collecting referrals.

The affiliate program is interesting – there’s a Rent Affiliate system in place.

What this means is you can pay to automatically put affiliates under your name and you can earn a bit from their earnings as well.

Direct referrals will bring in more cash, of course, but they’re harder to acquire.

As a matter of fact, most members agree the way to make decent income with this opportunity is through the affiliate program.

Most of the success stories don’t come from the earnings from tasks completed but rather the affiliate program.

What I Liked:

Here’s what I liked about Neobux:

You see a real money value next to each offer you want to complete.

Beside every offer there’s a dollar value assigned to it. The value is always quite low – never more than a dollar – but you can complete them relatively quickly.

I also like how there is an official forum where you can communicate with other members.

It’s always nice to have somewhere to hang out with other members and exchange ideas.

If you have any questions about the company, the forum would be the right place to ask for advice.

There are also categories for Success Stories and Payment Proof.

Other than those small things, I wasn’t really blow away by the company; it seems quite basic to me.

I did notice the platform does have a lot of offers to complete, so that’s an upside.

What I Didn’t Like:

Low earnings – this is the main reason people are wondering is Neobux a scam!

As you can see from the screenshot above, the rewards are quite low – that’s not even 1 US cent.

The earnings for completing tasks are really low and you shouldn’t expect to make a bunch of cash from the offers alone.

It’s quite difficult to see success from Neobux unless you dive into the affiliate program and promote it like crazy.

As far as payouts are concerned, it seems like the company does pay on time.

There doesn’t seem to be many issues with processing the payments (minimum pay out is $10).

Once again, the only supported payment processors are Skrill, Payza, and NETELLER – you’ll have to make an account with one of these companies to cash out.

Also, when I was browsing the site, my web-browser didn’t have a SECURE label next to it.

The rent-a-referral system is also a bit broken.

The idea is to get member’s to buy referral packages and then earn money from these referrals overtime.

On the surface, it seems like a good idea, but most members who have bought the packages claim to not earn anything back.

It seems like these packages are just for show and not actual members, or they are members, but they go inactive after a few days.

So it’s kind of a suspicious system in regards to this aspect.

Is Neobux a Scam?

I wouldn’t say the company is a scam because they do pay members and they do – somewhat – deliver on what they promise.

On the other hand, I don’t recommend it either.

If you’re gonna go with these type of websites, I recommend Swag Bucks or Survey Junkie as the earnings are much better.

I don’t recommend Neobux because you haven to spend tons of time promoting it or completing offers just to make a few bucks.

When you think of the time-investment required, it’s really not worth it.

So – it does work – but the pay-outs are really low.

You can still check it out and see for yourself, but if I was you (and I was you) I would go with a more stable source of income.
