Traffic Monsoon recently popped up on my radar, so I decided to take a look and see if it’s a viable way to earn money online.

In this Traffic Monsoon review, I’ll analyze the website, it’s business model, it’s opportunities, it’s history, and much more. Then you will be able to determine, at a glance, if it’s a legitimate opportunity or another scam.

Details:

  • Name: Traffic Monsoon
  • Owner: Charles Scoville
  • Type: Paid Traffic Packages and Revenue Sharing

What is Traffic Monsoon?

Traffic Monsoon is a company with several different features, all related to marketing online. It’s main purpose is traffic, it sells various traffic packages. The idea is to sell these packages to as many business owners as possible and then share the revenue with the members.

Revenue sharing is not a totally revolutionary idea, it’s been around for awhile, but it’s rather complicated and difficult to maintain. Like most revenue sharing companies, the members need to purchase shares in order to earn a cut of the main pool of cash.

Immediately, I noticed a few glaring issues with this business model, but we will talk about the negatives later on in this article.

Is Traffic Monsoon A Scam – Here’s How it Works

Traffic Monsoon is a traffic exchange platform, and anyone can create an account for free. But the members have to complete certain tasks in order to earn credits, shares, and other bonuses.

The main task is website surfing; checking out different websites for a few seconds.

Remember when I said Traffic Monsoon sells traffic? Well, the traffic comes from the members, an army of desperate clickers. Can you see the problem with the business model? I’ll get back to it in a bit.

There are also different ways to make money with the company.

Such as: collecting referrals, buying shares, clicking on advertisements, and other smaller tasks.

But the real emphasis is on recruiting as many people as possible, otherwise, it’s really a waste of time to click on ads all day, the maximum amount that you can earn in a day is about 50 cents.

Therefore, members are encouraged to promote the company as much as possible because the referral number is a income multiplier of sorts.

But, most members will click on ads for some fast cash or credits. You can also re-invest those credits into the company and buy a traffic package that you can use to promote your own projects.

That’s one of the incentives that encourages members to continue clicking on ads.

So the idea is to click a lot, earn some credits, maybe refer a few friends, make sure they click a lot, buy some traffic packages, send traffic to other affiliate links, re-invest the money, and live comfortable for the rest of your life.

Traffic Monsoon Payment For Clicking Ads

You’re not going to make much money for 10 clicks at 2 cents a click.

Unfortunately, this business model won’t make your life that comfortable, in fact, I think it’s not worth the hassle.

Pros

Before we dive into the cons, let’s take a look at some Traffic Monsoon Pros.

  • Fast payouts with Paypal, PayZa, and Solid Trust Pay (minimum payout is $2)
  • Fast cash deposits into your account. When you complete task, the cash reward is instantly added to your account, no need to wait for verification or other processes that take a long time.
  • Simple user-interface, easy to navigate.
  • Revenue sharing is awarded once a day. If the company made a lot of sales during the day and you have some shares, this will be another source of income, much more profitable than simply clicking on ads.

The Main Problem With Traffic Monsoon

There’s one huge problem with this company. It’s the traffic packages.

The traffic packages are supposed to be highly targeted, that’s what it says all over the company’s website.

As it turns out, they’re no targeted at all.

The traffic is not targeted because it comes from the members, the people who get paid to click on ads. Granted, the packages are very cheap but a lot of cheap traffic that doesn’t convert is useless.

It doesn’t matter if you can send 10,000 hits to my website, if none convert, it would be a waste of money and time, right…

So, since the members are generating the traffic, it’s not targeted at all. Why? Because the members are not clicking on ads because they’re personally interested in the offer.

Nope, they’re clicking on ads because the company (Traffic Monsoon) is paying them to click on the ad.

If you take the money incentive away, there’s absolutely no reason for the members to click on these ads. Website owners need people who are genuinely interested in their products or services to check out their websites, otherwise, it’s pointless.

Long Story Short, the Traffic is Virtually Useless

It’s not a blatant scam, well for the most part it is, I suppose a tiny – tiny – percentage of traffic might convert. Usually to other people selling bogus online make money opportunities.

But Traffic Monsoon is not making anybody rich and it’s pretty much a waste of time and energy.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to build a business on a product or service that doesn’t provides real value to the customer.

In order to create a successful website, the website needs to provide some value to a customer in one way or another. Whether it be a service, product, or advice.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of gurus that encourage people to create fast products that contain no real value, ending with a lot of frustrated people. It’s all about value.

Traffic Monsoon sells traffic, and yeah the traffic technically comes from humans, but none of these humans could care less about the content of the advertisements, and they’ll definitely not buy anything that’s advertised.

Final Word

I don’t recommend Traffic Monsoon.

You could probably earn a few bucks here and there but it’s too unstable, takes too long to earn, hard to keep new recruits, and the traffic is miserably low in value.

It’s a little bit like lying to business owners, claiming that you can send them website hits, while you secretly pay a friend to refresh their website page a bunch of times. It’s a scheme.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of similar websites out there, all based on the same faulty business model, and I’m sure most of them will sink in a year or two.

So is there anything that I do recommend? Actually, there is…

Affiliate marketing is alive and kicking, you can learn to build online niche websites based on value, based on things you know and love.

You can build an authoritative website based on your passions that sell products that you personally recommend. How hard is that, recommending something that you know, use, and like.

Not following me?? How many times (when you’re researching something to buy) do you go to good ole Google and ask, “what’s the best ____ for my _____”. Everyone does this. It’s comparison shopping 101.

And what do we do next. Most of us avoid the top paid advertisement sites and hit the first natural search that Google gives us – right? We think that this is the most reliable result for our search and most of the time it is.

We read the post, learn something new, trust the site, follow the link to said product and make our purchase.

That’s it..

That’s affiliate marketing. When we hit the link, go on to buy the product, the website that referred us makes a commission, we pay nothing more for the product, the brand or service pays the affiliate for bringing them the business.

All’s you need to do to make money online is learn to build a niche site, learn to build traffic, and the sales happen 24/7, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. It’s not rocket science. But it does take a little work, education, training and support.

The training program that teaches this is a really simple platform and you can plow through each lesson in no time…

…and then you will be armed with valuable, highly sought after, online marketing knowledge that you can use to create a successful website, business, or even be the one selling your SEO skills to local and online businesses.

You can check out my full review of them to see all the offer. The name of the training center is called Wealthy Affiliate.

You can also take a quick look at what they offer in my comparison chart between Wealthy Affiliate and Traffic Monsoon and see why I recommend them so strongly.
