Keep in mind, these strategies are not in any particular order, some are more effective than others, but each one works.

This strategy has been around for a long time, and it still works. When looking to a build a list, this is the technique most people start out with. It’s simple.

Basically, we offer a freebie in exchange for an email address.

The freebie can be an eBook or any other type of digital download or offer that might interest people.

Some people make a full-time business offering solo-ads for example.

It can be quite profitable. 

I think every website should have at least some list-building features in place.

2. Launching Products or Courses in Affiliate Marketplaces

This technique is most commonly found on internet marketing forums or affiliate communities.

The idea is to make an informational product, build hype for it, collect affiliates, and launch.

If done correctly, this strategy can be extremely lucrative. 

But it’s also the same strategy scammers use on a monthly basis.

Did you ever wonder why some scams disappear and another – identical – ones takes their place?

Creating fast courses, launching them, and repeating the process, is a method a lot of marketers use to earn online.

The only problem is the sales tend to die down after launch. 

So most product creators will make another similar product and launch again.

Still, if you like to write and teach people, this could be the right strategy for you.

So you can earn whenever an ad on your video is clicked.

It’s possible to make a full-time income from YouTube, but it takes time.

In most cases, the most popular YouTube videos are not in the make money online niche, but rather viral funny videos.

Nevertheless, I consider people making money on YouTube as marketers, regardless of their niche.

Passionate about something? 

Consider making videos about it.

Creating videos can be a lot of fun and as your channels grows you will earn more and more.

And there’s always a chance that a video will go viral, bringing in even more cash.

In short, that’s an idea to look into. 

Don’t fall for the scams that promise you’ll be a millionaire from YouTube in a matter of months.

It takes years to build up an audience.

We mentioned this in this previous article, and it’s still relevant.

The problem is there are so many services you can offer.

Still, there are online businesses out there that make hundreds of thousands dollars a month from a simple – quality – service.

Take sometime to think about what you can offer people. 

Opening a digital marketing agency could be one idea.

Search engine optimization services are also in high-demand as there are so many website owners looking to improve their ranks.

This can become a seriously lucrative career. Local SEO (managing local business websites) has an income potential into the 30K – 50K/month range and can get to an auto-pilot point eventually.

Sales skills for this avenue of online business are a must.

You can turn this idea into an entire online business teaching something you just learned.

Do your best to stick to white-hat techniques and you shouldn’t have a problem finding clients.

Even something as simple as writing articles can work.

I recommend offering a service because it’s one way to earn fast cash while you wait for your other projects to bring in cash.

Just take a moment to think about what people need.

Granted, building one does require a lot of time, but I believe it’s worth it.

If you can properly organize content creation, and stick to a regular posting schedule, the traffic will start to flow in.

You can also promote each article on social media and reach out to other bloggers for collaboration and back-links.

If you just started working on your website, it can be difficult to imagine your website becoming an authority one day.

But it can happen. It has happened. It will happen if you work on it. 

One thing I love about authority websites is that you can target broad topics related to your niche.

If you plan to make an authority website, it’s best to start with that goal in mind.

Tell yourself, “This website will be an authority” and work on it.

Take it a day at a time.

You can do it.

6. Affiliate Marketing Through a Niche Website

This strategy expands a bit on the previous section. You can build authoritative niche websites, or you can build smaller niche sites based on a single product.

It’s only limited to your imagination. You can easily have a few niche sites that’s are easy to rank that can bring in faster commissions and let you move on to other online projects.

You can monetize an authority website in many different ways. 

But creating a website for the sole purpose of affiliate marketing is another strategy to earn online.

To do this, we’ll need to find a niche and a main product to promote an affiliate.

Then we can write a review for the product and link back to that review from every article we write.

Smaller niche affiliate sites can be really profitable and you can always scale-up by creating more in other niches.

Products reviews are one type of content that are excellent for affiliate websites.

In most cases, these are smaller websites with only a few pages of content, followed by reviews to target people within a specific buying phase of their research.

This is also a great idea, and one that can get pretty passive once established.

You’ll have to pay a fee, but if affiliates start to promote the book, that’s more sales in your account.

Selling a simple eBook on your site can bring in a lot of cash.

It’s definitely worth looking into. 

Books also make you seem more legitimate, and you can build up a reputation as an author.

8. Build an e-commerce Website

E-commerce websites are dedicated to selling specific physical products.

These types of websites can bring in a lot of cash.

But they’re also quite challenging because you have to deal with more issues such as sourcing and shipping items.

Finding a cheap source for the products you want to sale and handling all the shipping complications can be a hassle.

Nevertheless, it can still be done. 

Prior to creating an e-commerce site, extensive research is required.

It’s also recommended to start small.

Order a small amount from your supplier and see if you can sell it before you order more.

A common mistake new e-commerce businessmen make is ordering too much product. I’ll admit, I did it on my second importation order.

You don’t want to have a bunch of stuff sitting around collecting dust. 

Make sure there’s a demand before you invest. It will save you a lot of time and stress.

The most popular being eBay.

Yes, eBay businesses are still popular and you can still make one.

The same tips mentioned in the previous section apply here; don’t order more than you can sell.

But eBay is just one of the platforms you can use.

In other words, create an online platform that automates or makes a complicated process simpler.

These are incredibly popular and can be extremely profitable too.

Consider charging a monthly fee for your service.

Now it’s the number one email management company in the world.

If you can create something similar, there’s no telling what could happen.

Of course, these types of sites require a lot of coding knowledge.

And if you don’t have that knowledge you’ll need to hire coders.

Another example would be Netflix, a simple online streaming service that has seen explosive growth.

If you create a useful platform that delivers value, there will be plenty of people willing to pay for it. 

It’s more difficult, but worth a look.
